Resume & Education

Andy Rees and his wife Carol have lived in Weatherford Texas since 2002. They moved to Texas in 2000 from Portland Oregon where they were involved in the horse industry and commercial sales and marketing. Both Andy and Carol had active real estate licenses in the state of Oregon. Andy has been the builder contractor on several homes and horse facilities in Oregon for himself and later has done the same in Texas. Andy's experience with construction goes back to his early years growing up in western Canada.

He and his father operated a contracting company that performed many facets of the construction trades. Andy has for several years worked in the safety industry bringing that experience into the home inspection field. In doing inspections he looks for structural and system defects, but also for safety issues that may put the homeowners at risk.

After 28 years as an AQHA judge, Andy retired from judging. The function of a horse show judge is as a trained observer. Andy brings this observation skill to the home inspections he performs.

A home inspection is simply trained observation and reporting. Andy became licensed as a Texas real estate agent in 2009 and has a complete understanding of the home buying and selling process. This past experience combined with ongoing training makes Texas Trusted Home Inspection the choice for home buyers and sellers in North Texas.
